Founded by local artist and educator, Veronica Batter, Rockdale Art Center is located in an historic and growing artistic community nestled between the scenic hills of Aston and Chester Creek on the border of Middletown Township.  Rockdale Art Center strives to become a resource for any level of arts enthusiast, from beginner to professional.

Meet our director!

Veronica Batter is a dedicated artist and educator with over a decade of teaching experience.  After graduating from Moore College of Art and Design, with distinction, she went on to teach art at area schools spanning grades K-12th grade.  She spent ten years teaching at Sun Valley High School, enriching the art department, and was co-founder of the annual arts gala Arts Alive.  During her teaching career she earned a Masters of Liberal Studies with highest honors from Widener University.  Veronica continues to create and teach and is actively involved in her local community, advocating for a rich and welcoming cultural corridor along Chester Creek.

Rockdale Art Center encourages the artistic growth of all ages and skill levels through our various class offerings. I believe exercising your creativity and learning new things is essential to a well-rounded life. Kids and adults, beginners and experts all have a place here. I strive to offer quality classes for my students and provide them with the best experience possible.
