Graphic Novel Course- Thurs, May 14- June 11

This course is open to any adults who enjoy drawing, comic books, graphic novels, Pop culture, and the graphic arts. Explore graphic novels from around the world and learn how to re-create various styles. Comic book artist, Keville Bowen, guides you in character and plot development in creating a short story and demonstrates artistic techniques to make your drawings jump off the page. During each class we hang out and draw, it’s an easy approach to writing and drawing!
At the end of this course we put everyone’s stories into a full-color, published comic book which you receive 4-6 weeks later. The fee includes one comic book, however you can order extra copies before the end of the course. All materials are provided.
This is a great way to relax and get creative!
Thursdays, May 14- June 11, 6:30-8:30pm (5 classes)
$140 for the course, includes all materials and printing costs for one book, additional books are $5 each
