Students ages 7 -12, are welcome to join this class, at any time, to improve their drawing and painting skills during this course. We’ll focus on creating realistic drawing & painting exercises and extended drawing and painting projects based on observation from objects and photographs. Subjects include still lifes, pet portraits, landscapes, and other subjects that students are interested in. Students are invited to bring their own ideas to work on with guidance, and they should bring some pictures to work from.

Students will use drawing materials such as charcoal and artist drawing pencils to create realistic renderings, and also learn how to create shading and blending with paint, like acrylic, and tempera. Students work to their own abilities and our instructor gives support and guidance to improve and strengthen their drawing abilities. Class size is limited to 8 students to ensure students receive individual attention and instruction.
