Week-long art classes tailored for students to engage their creativity and art making skills. Each week students explore a theme through a variety of art projects. Each student works in their own unique artistic style building self-confidence in a fun and creative environment. We have new creative projects every summer!!!

Classes will run Monday-Friday, 10am-12pm, during these weeks:

July 8-12; 10am-12pm: Painting with Miss Julie (Ages 5-10)- Explore different types of paint including watercolor, tempera, and acrylic and make creative projects on canvas, paper, and other surfaces. ($150.00, includes all supplies)

July 8-12; 10am-12pm: Board Game Designer with Miss Maggie (ages 9-15) - Using a variety of art materials, including model magic, clay, cardboard, papers and more, students will transform their ideas into a fully playable boardgames under the guidance of the teaching artist. They will design the game, all of the playing pieces, and even a box to hold it all! ($150.00, includes all supplies)

July 15-19; 10am-12pm: Exploring Art with Miss Julie (ages 5-10)- Perfect for the growing artist. Students explore drawing painting collage and more while learning about different art techniques. ($150.00, includes all supplies)

July 15-19; 10am-12pm: Anime Adventure with Keville (Ages 9-15) Comic book artist, Keville Bowen, shares drawing tips and his vast knowledge of All Things Anime! Explore different aspects of drawing styles, themes, and subjects in Anime to improve your student’s drawing skills while watching Anime and talking about Anime. The Anime topics will be suited to the students interests once the basics are covered. Keville creates a fun and supportive creative environment for his drawing classes! ($150.00, includes all supplies)

July 22-26; 10am-12pm: Block Craft Week with Miss V (ages 5-10) Based on the popular mining and crafting game, create projects about creepers, ores, and other game elements using a variety of art materials. ($150.00, includes all supplies)

July 29- Aug 2; 10am-12pm: Sculpture with Miss V (ages 5-10)- This week students work with a variety of sculpture materials with instruction on building with air-dry clay, model magic, wood, cardboard, and more! After projects are built students will paint them further expanding their creative skills. ($150.00, includes all supplies)

August 5-9, 10am-12pm Drawing with Miss V (ages 5-10)- Learn about drawing materials and techniques with pencils, pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, and more! Miss V will lead students through some guided drawings to learn new materials and techniques, then students will be able to choose their own subjects. ($150.00, includes all supplies)

August 5-9; 10am-12pm: Comic Book Creator Club with Keville (ages9-15)- Learn the basics of creating comic book stories, then create your own story which we then print and publish in a class comic book containing all the students’ work from the week! One printed Comic Book is included with the course, $5 per additional copies. ($150.00, includes all supplies)

Aug 12-16; 10am-12pm: Wild Animals with Miss V (ages 5-10)- Lions, tigers, and bears- oh my! Creating paintings, drawings, and sculptures about wild animals from all over the world under the guidance of our teaching artist. Learn about working with color and textures to bring animals to life. ($150.00, includes all supplies)
